Terms of Use

These terms apply to use of American Fork Residents Directory. Using the reference means accepting these terms. Do not use it if you do not accept them.

1. The Service

American Fork Residents Directory is a private reference to Utah County and Utah records, indexes, and historical collections. It hosts no government record and is not affiliated with a custodian, court, library, or agency.

2. Lawful Use

Use the pages and linked tools only for lawful purposes. You may not stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person; locate someone protected by an order; commit identity theft or fraud; make FCRA-regulated decisions; scrape or republish the pages at scale; or interfere with service operation and security.

3. No Consumer Reports

This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Nothing here or returned by a linked tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

4. Outside Links

Utah County, American Fork, Utah state, court, library, USPS, archive, and sponsored tools have their own terms and privacy practices. The operator does not control their content, availability, price, or data handling.

5. No Warranty

The reference is supplied as is and as available. No warranty promises that a page, link, record description, fee, coverage year, or result is complete, accurate, current, or uninterrupted.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service or an external resource, including decisions based on a record found through it.

7. Indemnity

You agree to protect and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorney fees arising from misuse of the reference or violation of these terms.

8. Copyright

Original wording, design, logo, and layout belong to the operator and are protected by copyright. Brief attributed quotations and ordinary linking are welcome; complete-page republication and systematic copying are not.

9. Changes

Updated terms may be posted here. Continued use after posting an update means acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Access Restrictions

The operator may block or limit access when a person violates these terms or abuses the service, with or without advance notice.

11. Utah Law

Utah law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Requests for government records are governed by the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2. The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, is the state consumer-data privacy framework identified by the Utah Department of Commerce and took effect December 31, 2023.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
